The space

The Apartment:

This designer loft comfortably accommodates up to four guests across two bedrooms – the master suite features a king bed and a private ensuite bathroom, while the second bedroom showcases a unique partial wall design that opens toward the living area, allowing natural light to flow through the space. The apartment’s split-level layout includes a raised seating nook by the windows – a cozy spot to read, work, or take in leafy Fortitude Valley views. The open-plan living area combines rich textures, eclectic artwork, and designer details, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The fully equipped kitchen offers modern appliances and generous bench space, ideal for both short and extended stays in the heart of Fortitude Valley.

The Building – ‘Sun Apartments’:

Our apartment is located within the renowned, heritage-listed ‘Sun Apartments’ Building, built in 1929. Sun Apartments is steeped in rich history, housing some of Australia’s most iconic newspapers until 1996, at which point, the building was converted into unique residential warehouse-style apartments. Staying at Sun Apartments allows you to step into a piece of Brisbane’s past while enjoying the modern amenities within this heritage apartment.

– Please note we are located in Brisbane’s vibrant entertainment district which means there are many bars, clubs, cafes and restaurants in the area.
– Weekdays are pretty quiet in Fortitude Valley but the weekend nights can be noisy and busy, so if you’re seeking a quiet neighbourhood this exciting location may not be the ideal choice.
